RAyne just smirked as the door flew down the hallway. He clapped his hand on Adam's shoulder. "Good job, bud!...It was a very nice hit I must say." He laughed lightly, but it was almost a fake laugh. He was tense about the mission, no matter how much he acted laid back about it. Something in his mind told him, he would somehow mess this whole thing up. He'd make sure he wouldnt mess it up, especially for Ryan. So they got on each other's nerves, that didnt mean that he had to ruin her entire life on purpose...just make her life a little frustrating.
Rayne snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Ryan call for him over to her. He saw that she probably wanted him to melt the key lock off, so the alarm wouldnt sound as they approached it. He brought his hand up and made a chopping motion with his hand, and the lock split in two from a thin line of fire. So it wasnt exactly the hardest thing to do, but at least he got to do something. He motioned with his hand for Ryan to enter. "Ladies first..." Rayne smirked.

Ryan gave him a sarcastic curtsey, before walking past him and pressing her hands against the metal door. Giving it a firm tug, she pulled it open, but didn't walk inside. Her eye caught a glimpse of a red beam of light flashing, as the smoke caused from Rayne's fire floated over it. Ryan turned her head and looked at Rayne, with a questionable look on her face, before looking back at the room.
"God... what are they keeping from us?" She asked herself, in almost a whisper. They had to have something hard to hide, with all this security. Something they obviously didn't want them to know.
Bending down, Ryan blew on the small red hot part of the door that still smoked- only causing a bit more. It wasn't more than fifteen seconsd before the entire room was filled with a light fog and all the beams were visible. On thing about a Pyro's fire- they weren't just fire. It was like an everlasting one, filled with magic- mysterious in ways, just like the ones it came from.
With a smirk, Ryan took a step back, before takign a short run and cartwheeling and backflipping through the mess. Almost hitting a beam, as she made it to the end, but catching herself just in time. She stood to her feet, and turned back to the guys still smiling, as she reached up and pressed the button-obviously for the beams.
"What? No codes, or razorblades flying out marked with death?" She asked in a sarcastic tone.
[We should make this more interesting...{nods} lol.]

Rayne's eyebrows went up in amazement as Ryan flipped and did all sorts of stuff to weave in and out of hte beams way. Impressive...., he'd admit it, he was impressed. If he had done it, he would have triggered the alarms immediately, even though he probably could somehow hit the button with his fire.
He walked through the aftermath of his flames, not coughing or really notcing the smoke. He was so used to it, the smoke just didnt bug him anymore. Rayne crossed his arms as he walked up to Ryan's side. "Nice flips, little ms. gymnastics..." It was sarcastic of course, but he just was in the mood to hit something and hurt it. He opened his mouth to say something else, but his enhanced hearing hit him full blast, causing him to hear hearts beats. He closed his eyes and focused and he heard 3 pairs of footsteps walking down the hallway, near where they were at, all the men had to do was turn the corner and that'd be it. Acting quickly, Rayne ran down the hallway, turned the corner and shot 3 power-packed fireballs. The laughter of the three men were silenced a few moments later. He walked back, his mood brightening slightly. "Clean-up on aisle three..."

"Five years." She smirked, but only for her smirk to turn to confusment as Rayne bolted out of there. It didn't take her long to figure it out though- there was still a lot about him that she didn't know- but she knew that look. He just vaporized someone's ass, and somehow she wasn't disgusted. Too much time being stuck in the Academy. Having a lifetime of being different- death somehow became normal to her.
"You're gross..." She joked, as she heard a clicking, as Rayne stepped on a certain floor piece. Her eyes turned to catch the site, of his foot pushing down what looked to be a disguised button, and causing an effect. Without another thought, she turned to see an arrow coming straight for her face, but ducked luckily- as she yelled out.
"Watchout!" She yiped, bending back as another grazed her arm. She held her hand to it then looked over at Rayne. The other two were still out standing guard, so they were safe...for the moment.
"Are you kidding me?" She said, looking at the blood on her hand, before looking back at the wall. It was silent now. Nothing was happening. She wasn't hurt-she barely noticed the pain anymore, but she knew that getting in was going to be far more simple than getting out.

Rayne simply shrugged at her comment about him. Eh, if she thought he was gross she'd have to get used to it. But he had caught off guard when arrows were shot from different places. Damnit! I knew I should have been paying more attention... He couldnt help but bully himself, it was just one more step closer for him to ruining the mission. He winced in pain as an arrow he hadnt seen came and sliced him across his face. He made his way over to Ryan. "You okay?..." He wouldnt usaully ask if she was alright, but he figured he might as well be nice to her at the moment. He suddenly blinked a lot, the blood starting to get in his eyes.

"Yeah... be careful..." She said, as she noticed him walking over to her. Just what they needed- to go on a simple mission and all be killed or caught. It wasn't his fault though- these places were booby-trapped by the best minds- if they got out of here with a scratch, then something went wrong. It was unlikely.
"Oh my god, Rayne..." She said, as she raised her hand to his forehead. Ripping a small piece of her shirt off, she put it up toward his forehead and pressed it. She hated that shirt anyway- and right now, she needed him alive and well. She could see the blood slowly dripping in his eye, but there was really nothing she could do about that.
"If you tear up, it'll come out." She suggested, but being the guy he was, he'd probably reject the idea.
"They must really not want us to see this stuff..."

"Ummm...thanks..." He touched the cloth that Ryan had placed on his forehead. I'm surprised she even cares that I got cut... He didnt understand it, but whatever. Rayne put some pressure on his forehead, trying to stop the cut from bleeding.
Of course he immediately shook his head at her suggestion. "Not trying to burst your bubble Ryan...but I'm not going to cry over spilled blood...The blood will soon dry and harden. It's not that big of a deal...." He shrugged, he felt almost out of it but it was probably because of how tense he was. No matter how much of a bad ass he was, he did care about certain things. He cared about messing this mission up....he already messed up someone else's life, he couldnt stand messing up another. Rayne folded his arms again. "Ok...where to next?"

Evan was busy moving the large gaurds body out of the view of the door. With Ryan and Rayne moving on to the next room, he figured he'd wait for the second gaurd to come back from his break. He could sorta hear jumbled conversation of Rayne and Ryan. They were in the laser room, and from the sound of it, Ryan just made it across the room to deactivate the lasers.
Suddenly, Evan heard footsteps and humming comming from down the hallway. It appeared to be the man comming back from his break. Motioning to Adam to move away from the door, Evan pulled out the rope again from his bag. Running it through his hands once, he sent it slithering down the hallway. A gasp and a soft thud meant the rope did it's trick. "Adam, move his body into this room, and shut the door behind, I'll catch up with Ryan and Rayne, you'll have no problem making up for lost time."
Carefully, Evan made his way into the room where the two others were. Ryan was fixing a cut on Raynes head. "What happened?" Evan asked as he coiled the rope back into his bag. "The other gaurd is out, we should be fine until we move forward again."

Ryan removed her hand and shook her head, as if to say Ugh... Men...
"Yeah..." She spoke, as she looked around- trying not to loose her feet and trigger something else. There were files along the walls, but a lot less than she had once thought. Metal files, but no locks. There had to be a trick...something more to this game than meets the eye.
"That's a hell of a good Question." Biting her lip, she slowly made her way across the floor. Waiting to step somewhere, and fall in or have large axes crash into her head, as if she was in some old Indiana Jones movie-or some cliche like it.
Turning her attention back to the familiar voice behind her, she gave off a sarcastic shrug as she spoke once more.
"Oh, you know... Just hanging around." She smiled.

Rayne saw that Evan had finally come into the room. HE shurgged at his question. "Not much,...just shooting arrows coming to kill us...." He didnt laugh or anything, he just followed Ryan across the floor. He just wasnt in the mood lately, and right at the moment he just wanted to burn the whole place down. An image suddenly popping into his head of the burning buildings....it looked like fun.
((sorry its short, went brain dead))

"So these are the files...I was expecting to have a Mission Impossible stunt involving one of us hanging from the celling." It was just rows and rows of files and draws, nothing spectacular. "I was expecting a computer, not old paper files...we're in SHEILD." It dawned on Evan, they were in SHEILD, and they already broke into there files. Something was wrong, no alarms, cameras, nothing, just 5 gaurds. "Something isn't right...I think we were set up." Evan's voice sounded nervous.
"Think about it, where is this high-tech sercurity system we read about...." A metalic sound on metal on metal filled the room. "Anyone feeling claustrophobic." The walls seemed to be closing in on them.

RAyne barely heard what Evan was saying. The creaking of the walls moving hurt his ears. He hadnt realized his hearing went up and he clamped his hands over his ears, falling to the ground. The sound was killing him and he didnt know how to shut it off. It just hurt so bad, he bit his lip hard enough that it started to bleed. He hoped Evan and Ryan didnt notice what had happened to him, it would ruin his pride..sort of. He whispered to himself, "Got to make this stop...."

Rayne hit the ground covering his ears. Evan was going insane from the sound of metal on metal. "Ryan, we need to get down that passageway." He pointed to the hallway where Rayne had cooked the three gaurds. "HURRY UP ADAM!" Evan called into the other room. What was taking him so long?
"Get up Rayne." Evan pulled Rayne to his feet and started to run to the closing gap as the walls started to cover the doorway.

Ryan laughed at Evans comment, but it didn't last. He was right, there was defenetly soemthing wrong. Just then the walls started to close in. She yanked her head around, and backed up a bit, as they started to get closer- but she wasn't afraid. Her mind was on the two who stood there with her. She had gotten them into this, and if they got hurt, she wouldn't be able to live with herself, let alone the Head Mistress.
"We gotta get out of here." She said, turning to see Rayne freaking out as he held his ears. A trickle of blood hitting the floor beneath him, as he bit into it. She looked up at Evan and then back at Rayne- trying to think thoughts to him, to calm him. Little did she know about his hearing. All she knew was that he was a Firestarter.

Rayne was brought to his feet but he soon tore away from Evan. He had to stop the sound. Even though his enahanced hearing was meant to help him, they were killing him at the moment. There were calming thoughts going through his brain but they werent helping him much. He placed his hands on one of the walls and brought flames to them. Some of the wall melted but not alot. His breathing became ragged as he tried to stop the walls. He was going to make sure Ryan, Evan, and Adam got through no matter what. He looked at Evan and Ryan. "Just go! I'll meet you guys around the corner in a second..."
