Evan with help from Kara, got to the infiermary. Rayne was between them in very bad shape. They walk to the school had tired Evan out, and was glad to see that all three had made it with out any problems. Looking around, the room seemed empty, he wasn't even sure if anyone worked here. "Lets put him down on that table." Evan suggested he nodded to a medical table surrounded by a curtain.
Putting Rayne down, Evan collapsed in a near by chair and put his head in his hands. His breathing was labored and his leg burned like it was still on fire. Yet Rayne seemed to of made out worst.

Kara was relieved to see the infirmary, she was in so much pain and now it looked like her skin was peeling on her arms. She sat down in an empty chair and examined her arms once more, she touched her arms and saw that her skin was peeling. She made a face, as blackened skin stuck to her fingers. "Ew Ev..help me!" She screamed out in horror.

Evan looked up at Kara's scream. Her hand was coated in black burned skin. Knowing that was what his leg looked like, he didn't even want to look or touch it. "Hold on Kara...ummm..." He tried to remeber everything he learned about treating burns, as no help had come yet. It's a surprise both of them weren't in shock laying on the sand down by the pond.
"Here get up on a table." With some effort, he helped her up. "If I remember we need to elevate the burned area above the heart...." Evan knew himself that both of them could go into shock at any moment. He looked around and found a large emergency button which he hit at least 20 times before climing on to a table. He started to feel sick and his pulse seemed to drop.

Kara stared at the black stuff on her fingers, that was her skin. "Ew..so gross..is it supposed to do that." She couldn't even look at Evan, the peeling of the skin just so digusted her. She couldn't help but, stare at her skin, it was fascinating and yet so gross.
She listened to Evan go in full medical mode as she continued staring at the blackened skin on her fingers. She wanted to puke or something. Standing up, she winced a little in pain as she gets up on the table.

All Rayne knew was that he wasnt at the lake anymore, but he had been laid down on a cold table. His teeth chattered, he didnt know if he was going into shock or if he was just cold. Rayne could hear Evan and Kara speaking, but about what he didnt know. A third wave of nausea hit him, but he managed to keep it down that time. Every so often though, a heat wave went through his body, warming him but then giving him a major headache. His temperature continued to rise and fall at random times. Rayne just felt sick, but he was still hoping Kara and Evan were doing ok.

Evan was out of ideas, making his way over to Kara, he looked at her hands. It was a nasty site to see. "Thats what's spose to happen. Where is the nurse here?" Evan slammed the button fice more times. Leave it to the academy not to have a full time nurse. "We just have to wait...I really sont know what to do..."

Rayne was tired of laying there, no matter how hurt he was. He rolled over a little then dropped his feet to the floor as quietly as possible. He walked well more wobbling to one of hte other doors. His stomach felt weird again and his temperature rose quickly and he hunched over, leaning on the wall for support. He tried to push the door open,but he was just too weak at the moment. Instead pushing the door had the opposite effect and he fell on the floor. Rayne stayed there, trying to think of another plan to leave.

Evan turned to see Rayne on the floor. Evan sighed, Rayne needed help too, he would have to suck up his pride and get help. "Rayne, just wait a moment." Evan turned and his burnt skin brushed up agaist the cold metal of Kara's bed, scrapeing the skin and sending a shock of pain though his system.
A woman about the age of 35 walked into the room, a small cross on her shirt ment she worked there. Seeing the three kids looking deathly, he tuted her tounge, compleatly obivious to how long they had been there. "What have you gotten you're selfs into?" She looked from Kara's hands, to Evans leg and then Raynes body on the floor. Hustling over to Rayne she picked him up with ease and put him back on the bed. "You'r not going anywhere..."

Rayne fought with whoever was picking him up. He was tired of being picked up especially since he felt like puking his guts out again. "Get off of me!" The minute his body hit the table, it was off again. He wlaked back over to the wall, leaning for support. He pointed to Kara and Evan. "Go on...help them first, I'll be fine" He was sweating slightly, but he was able to stand and that was something.
The nurse shook her head, "I dont think so. You're in worse shape than they are." She walked over to the boy, her hands outstretched for him to take.
Rayne looked at the nurse as if she were crazy. "Just help them!" His hand went back into a fist, flames covering them. "Help them first....." He glared, not caring about showing his powers.
The nurse was scared as she saw the flames. "Uh...um ok." She faced Evan and Kara. "Would you two rather have a doctor come in here or would you like to go in the back?"

Evan looked at the nurse like she was crazy. They just wanted help, they didn't care where. She seemed clueless to the fact Kara and him add at least 4th degree burnes. "Just help us with our burns." Evan said, he didn't even know if there was anything to do with the degree's of burns they had. "Arn't you a mutant? Do you have any healing powers?"
Now it was the nurses turn to give them a strange look. "Nope, Your burns arn't as easy to treat as that..." Getting a huge pile of medical wrappings she soaked them in water. "Come here hunny..." She pulled Kara's hand over to her lap and started to wrap them in the cloth.

Rayne half-smiled as the nurse started to help Kara and Evan. He slumped down in one of the couches, watching the nurse care to his friends. "I think...I'm going...to...sleep..." Before he knew it, his eyes rolled back and his head hit the cushion of the couch. He was asleep, his body craving the sleeping/healing trance. His body trembled less as he slept soundly.

Kara winced a little in pain as the nurse wrapped her burned arms and hands. "Um thanks..I think." She blinked a little as she looked at the two of her friends, she wanted to get out of here, any medicial facilaties made Kara nervous.

Rayne woke up, realizing he didnt get much sleep. He watched KAra get help with her burns. He sighed, wishing he hadnt done what he had done. "I'm sorry you guys...." Rayne whispered to them, not knowing if they heard him or not. He felt so bad, and he wanted them to know how sorry he was.

Kara looked over to Rayne, she wanted to give him a big hug and tell him that everything would be alright. She smiled sweetly at him. "Oh its okay sweetie, we forgive you." She winced once more in pain as the nurse continued tending her wounds.

"You'll be fine, keep the wraps on." The nurse said as she finished wraping Kara's hand. She looked at Evan. "Get me look at your leg." he slid over and grabed Evans leg and started to wrap it too.
Evan laid on his back, his hands behind hin head. As the Nurse worked on Kara Evan closed his eyes. He heard Rayne say he was sorry about what happened. "Don't worry about, who needs thier legs or hands anyway. Seriously though, we all make mistakes." Evan wasn't sure how it would be perseved by Rayne, but that thought was driven out of his mind as pain shot through his leg as the nurse started to address his burn.
