Fenster Hall is a shelter for homeless children, or children who've come from broken homes, and was founded in the year 1979 by Rennie Fenster. Although little is known about the founder of this shelter, it is known that she was taken in by a shelter, herself. Rennie was determined to help young girls such as herself who had come from broken homes. It had been a shelter to look out for them and help them prepare for life until they were old enough to leave. Rennie also wanted to help children who had no homes.
Rennie Fenster took in several children before she'd even opened Fenster Hall. They became her 5 children legally after only two months after opening her shelter. She fell in love with them and they returned the love. She'd legally adopted them and took them under her care.
Rennie felt they were no longer in need of the shelter so she built herself, and the children a cottage to live in behind Fenster Hall, along with a garden.
She continued to take in children off of the street while taking care of her own children. She put a lot of effort, love and care into both her home life as well as the shelter.
After five years of opening the shelter, Rennie felt worn out, and began to hire a staff who built a school house onto the property. They said the children living inside of the shelter needed an education. Things slowly changed, but Rennie's love for all of the children that came to the shelter did not. She found that hiring the staff had made the school bigger and better, and she knew it would last. She was able to put more time and effort into the family she'd adopted, and into the garden she'd built for them.
It is said Rennie died in the garden, after putting half of her life into Fenster Hall and perfecting the garden. However, her garden was more of a mystery than her school. It seemed her school was like a magnet for runaway children, homeless children, and abandoned children. However, her garden was the biggest mystery of all.
After Rennie died in her garden cottage, her children either moved back into the shelter, took a job as an employee at the shelter or moved away to bigger and better things, and when this happened, the cottage, and Rennie's body, disappeared. There are many rumors about what had happened to her body, and the cottage, but everything about the garden and what exactly Rennie did in that garden remains a mystery.
Children that move into Fenster Hall today still tell stories of what happened in that garden, calling Rennie a witch, and others say she's still in the garden watching over everyone. Still, other children claim that after going into the garden, they'd recieved a magical power.
Is Fenster hall just a normal shelter, or does this shelter have something more than just rumors?
